Offering Remote/Online and In-Person Tutoring
Hello friends and neighbors! I am in the process of advertising and beginning to offer tutoring services to students and families in-need, starting this month, as we head into the 2020-21 school year.
I was adopted from Russia and graduated from Bucknell University with my BA in Creative Writing and Russian Studies, and I speak/read/write intermediate-advanced Russian. I have experience teaching and tutoring ESL/ELL learners, special-needs and adopted students, as well as a year's experience (2019-2020) teaching English and History for primary and middle school students at a hybrid-Christian home-school program, both in the classroom and remotely. I also possess experience in online course creation and design.
I have particular aptitude in teaching English (Reading/Writing/Literature/Comprehension/Speech), History/Social Studies, Russian, and an interest in Biblical Studies. I offer artistic and creative activities to engage students with goals in the following areas: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Life Skills. I'm also willing to consider teaching Math and Science for K-5 students, depending on the concentration. I am passionate about helping every student reach their fullest potential, while understanding each child's individual strengths and challenges. By working together to the best of our abilities, it is my hope that learning can be a rewarding and productive experience!
